I Have Some Tips That Might Help You
Use My Idea
Statements.
1. When ever you see the words "THE STUDENT", "HE/SHE" or
"HIM/HER"
it's an indication for you to insert your students name and descriptors.
2. If your working on a PC, copy and paste the data by
highlighting
the IDEA STATEMENT. Right click and hold, moving your mouse then
release
the right click after the statement is highlighted.
3.Using your mouse, click on Edit then on copy, the
information is
now stored in your computers memory. Go to your word processor or form
and click on Edit then on Paste and the IDEA STATEMENT you selected
will
appear. Repeat the process until your finished.
4. You could change all "THE STUDENTS" to your students
name at once
by clicking on "Edit" then on "Find and Replace"then follow the
prompts.
(change any information you want).
5. Try to copy and paste other benchmarks or functional
levels on
each Idea Statement to better describe your student needs.
6. Look over the other non data sections tabs, as they will
help
you write better IEP's.
